Worldwiew for iphone

As recommended, I want to tell how disappointed I'm, because for 34 days now, I'm not able to use my worldview appli for iphone (I have both free one and the other one).
The existing webcam does not refresh, and if i want to add some, it's impossible beacause the system never find a town or a country. On selection, there is no result "il y a une interruption de service de webcam travel".
I just want to know if it is "normal", because there is a technical problem that can't be fix for the moment, or just because you decided to stop this appli for iphone (i seems to be...)

    Hello Sandrine,

    first of all, I did NOT decide to stop this application. I even released several updates during the last weeks solving issues I got aware of. There is an active Beta Tester community which helps me testing every version, and beta versions before I release it.

    Regarding your issues, it would help if you could provide details on exactly what is going wrong after doing what. Having screenshots might be of additional help. Please be as specific in the description as possible, since it helps me understanding much better what and where a problem occurs.

    It is also of help to now which version of which app using which device under which firmware you are using.

    Hello Andreas,

    Thanks for your quick reply.
    For worldview live, I' have 1.5.3, and I'm not able to do anything on it.
    For the free one, I have 1.5.3 also.

    Maybe it could help if I add that I'm always on 3G connection and never on wifi (because the wifi connection has crashed on my iphone several months ago).
    When I try to localise webcam that are close to me, the system says it is seaching, and the search never ends.
    I'm at the office now, but this evening, i'll try to add some screen shots because it seems that my case is an isolated one because I do not see a lot of reclamations on the iphone appli, and on the web support.

    General: The app doesn't work without online connection. If WiFi is not working you need 3G or EDGE connection to get any data. Searching for cities also only works when being online.

    Feel free to send me whatever you have.

    I am currently working on another update which will solve some more issues related to some specific webcams. I'd be happy to fix any other bug there is.

    Oh sorry, I misunderstood and thought 3G is NOT activated. I will also do some more tests myself. But so far on my 3G, EDGE or other data connection everything works fine. So it could also be related to your mobile network provider blocking some data.

    Maybe because my husband is on orange, in France (france telecom) and it works. My sister and I are on SFR and it doesn't work. I'll give you some more information this evening.

    Sandrine, could you try using Safari on your iPhone while NOT connected to a WiFi network and browse to http://webcams.travel/ website and use the site to browse through webcams. Do you have any problems doing so?

    as recommanded, i'm able to connect on webcam travel when i'm on 3g. I'm not at home to connect on my computer, but as soon as i can, i'll send the screenshots, to try to fix the problem

    An update including a fix for the SFR mobile network issue has just been send to Apple!

    Thank you very mushc for this new update.
    I used to have the same trouble as Sandrine (I'm also an SFR user) and with this new release it now works perfectly.
    The best app to be connected with every places you love in the world!!!!!
