Possible fault
Hi,
I have just downloaded the update on Worldview on Iphone. I have a number of places in my bookmark and I can see them fine in the bookmark page but when I view them full screen I no longer see an up to date picture. I see an old view. I cannot get it to refresh. This has only started since the latest upgrade.
Regards,
James.

Hello James,
this sounds strange. Does this problem persist when you switch through the images and go back? Or when going out of fullscreen and back in?

Hi,
I am looking at the list of views in bookmarks. When I then select one and
go to full screen I see yesterdays view. If I then press refresh it just
keeps trying to refresh but the image never updates.
It worked fine until I updated the software.
James.

Hi,
I tried to replicate that, but I don't get the same symptoms. Could you please help me a little on that, to find out the reason for the strange behavior on your side.
Which webcam(s) show the effect? What are their names? Do they show a reload icon on the top right in the list view or not? If you search for one of these cams using the search function, does the same effect happen when viewing fullscreen there too?

Ok.
The ones I noticed it on were Glasgow and Villefranche.
I have just gone in and checked that it still was not working then searched
for it again. When I found it from the search and displayed it full screen
it started to work again. It now works from bookmarks.
James.

Hi, at least it works again. I tried it with your cams, had them in bookmarks in 1.5.6, then upgraded to 2.0, without opening them from search or somewhere else, the image was updating fine over here. Hard to say what went wrong. I'll keep an eye on it. Sorry for the trouble, hope you are enjoying the new version anyway.

Just updated my app and the exact same thing happened- bookmarked small images are updated, but when I pull them up in full screen they're old images. After reading previous comments I tried searching for each image, after I did this, the full images worked, but it's a tiresome process when you have many bookmarked images.

I am looking into it, have a friend who can reproduce it with the AppStore version, bud sadly I cannot, same code. I try digging deeper.

I may have found something that can cause this behaviour. Looking further into it and hopefully it is the problem you are experiencing and the next update fixes it for you. But this needs some more work before I can send it to Apple.

Is this problem still occuring or is it fixed with the latest versions?
