I've got WorldView on both my iphone and ipad. Most of, well really all of my browsing i do on my ipad. Is there a way for me to copy my favorites from my ipad to my iphone?

Also i read a different thread where you suggested that someone re-install WorldView+ on the Ipad because they had a problem with WorldView+ immediately exiting after start-up. I have the same problem but i'm afraid of uninstalling WorldView+ because i might loose all my bookmarks.

Next, would the fact that i have hundreds of bookmarks on my ipad version explain why WorldView+ isn't working for me?

This is my first time writing you, after a couple of years of using WorldView+. What a wonderful idea and layout. I use this everyday to look at various parts of the world. I've caught lightning strikes, forest fires, fireworks, parades, wildlife, beautiful women and much more.

    Hello Jean-Philippe,

sorry for the issues you are facing. The current version 2.0 will sadly NOT work on your iPad, no matter what you do. There is a bug which makes it crash on any device running iOS firmware version 3.x. I submitted an update which fixes this and some more issues last sunday morning. All we can do now is wait for Apple to approve and release it.

Regarding copying the bookmarks, there is no way yet you can do that yourself. But I could do a one time copy if you give me the 40 digit device IDs of your devices and tell me which to copy over which other. Here is a description on how to find that ID: http://support.worldviewmobileapp.com/faqs/support/device-id

Once that is done, you would need to reset the database on the device which gets the new list in the settings application worldview menu. Then start the app and it should provide the option to import the bookmarks from the server. But as I said, I need the IDs firsts and then need to do something on the server.

Having hundreds of bookmarks is no problem for WorldView to handle.

This bug has been fixed already some time ago. I hope everything is fine now. Closing this ticket for now.

    Best
